Call To Bold Women

A Call To Bold Women

A Call To Bold Women has been my guiding thought as I spent many days, weeks, months, and years staring into my emptiness, wondering what would become of one of my deepest desires—to start a digital magazine. The fear of failure, the fear of judgment, and the fear of stepping into a new space that demanded more from me than I thought I could give were daily thoughts. The idea of launching this magazine, a platform meant to empower women to rise and shine in their brilliance, felt like an insurmountable challenge. Yet, something within me, something greater than those fears, pushed me to do it.

I wrestled with countless names but eventually settled on Bold Daughters. This name wasn’t just a cool title; it was a calling out of a place of fear, a place God never intended for me and you.

This is a call to all women who, like me, have felt the tug of a passion or yet also know the heavy weight of doubt. I understand the struggle and the nights spent wrestling with fear and lots of uncertainty. I realized that I had allowed fear to dictate my actions—or worse, my inactions for far too long. But there came a pivotal moment when the fear of not doing it became greater than the fear of failing. It was then that I knew I had to step out in faith.

“God has not given me a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind” (2 Timothy 1:7). This scripture became my anchor, a lifeline amid uncertainty. It’s not just a verse. It’s become a central part of my daily affirmations, a reminder that I am equipped with everything I need to overcome fear and embrace my calling.

Embracing Our Fears

This is a call to bold women who have felt the tug of passion yet carry the heavy weight of doubt. I understand the struggle and those long nights spent wrestling with uncertainty. There was a time when I let fear dictate my actions—and worse, my inactions. However, a pivotal moment arrived when the fear of not pursuing my dreams outweighed the fear of failing. In that moment, I knew I had to step out in faith.

The Journey Begins

Starting was half the battle. Once I made the decision to begin, the path began to unfold. While the journey has been challenging at times, each step has brought me closer to experiencing the joy of living my daydream. I find fulfillment in aligning my actions with my passions, embracing my creativity, and finally being in tune with my authentic self.

It’s time to rise above that fear and embrace what you truly want to do. Cherish your daydreams, even the ones you haven’t shared with anyone for fear of ridicule.
