You Already Have What It Takes
Do I have any daydreamers here tonight who know that they already have what it takes to pursue their dreams? Those who long to be self-employed, boss women, podcasters, fierce advocates, or stay-at-home mamas raising bold sons and daughters?
Yes, daydreamers come from all walks of life, dreaming about all sorts of things—and doing them well.
Overcoming Obstacles
But hold on—most of the time, we can’t live out our dreams. Why? There are many reasons: self-doubt, fear of judgment, lack of support, and sometimes, reasons we can’t even explain.
You Already Have What It Takes
Yet, what if I told you that you already have what it takes to make those daydreams come true?
Yes, you, with your humble background and without all the degrees and connections, have the potential to make it happen. It may sound unbelievable, but it’s true. You have what it takes!
Embracing Your Imagination
Pull your chair closer and grab your tea or favorite drink because we’re about to have an honest conversation. You’ve been daydreaming for a reason, and tonight, I’m here to tell you: if you’ve imagined it, you can achieve it.
A Sign from God
Let me break it down.
Anytime you’ve envisioned becoming a better version of yourself or expanding in any capacity, that thought didn’t come out of nowhere. I believe that sometimes God speaks to us in many ways, and it’s a sign from Him. After all, God is a God of increase, and He wants us to do good when we align with His word. Yes, you can bring that thought to life. All it takes is belief, effort, and faith in God.
The Power of Unity
I’m going to let scripture help me here:
In Genesis 11:4-8, there’s a powerful story about imagination and action. The people came together to build a tower that would reach the heavens. They were united, speaking one language, and as they began to build, they caught God’s attention.
The Lord Himself came down to see the city and tower they were constructing. He said, “Behold, the people are one, and they have one language, and this they begin to do: and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do.”
Imagining Your Dreams
Let’s zoom in on that last part: the thing they have imagined.
These people imagined something bold; to build a tower to reach the heavens, and they set out to accomplish it. Their unified vision was so strong that even God took notice. They imagined it—and because they did, they started building.
Your Dreams Matter
What have you been imagining?
Is it going back to school, starting a non-profit, or launching that side hustle? If you can imagine it, you can make it happen with effort. Look at your imagination as a powerful tool to bring your thoughts into reality.
Take the First Step
I’m telling you, if you believe in it and take that first step, all things, including God, the atmosphere, and everything in it, will conspire with you to make it happen. You have what it takes!

Final Thoughts on What It Takes
So, dear one, allow me to ask again. What have you been imagining? Don’t let anyone tell you it can’t be done. You can do it because you’ve imagined it. Believe in that vision, take the step, and commit your plans to God.
