The God advantage is what makes the impossible possible. A story in the Bible tells of four lepers whose city was in crisis. Sick and abandoned, they had nothing left to lose (2 Kings 7 – read the full story here).
The city was under siege, famine was everywhere, and hope seemed completely lost. The lepers could have remained passive, waiting for death. Instead, they chose action. They said to each other, “Why are we sitting here until we die? If we go into the city, there’s a famine, and we’ll die there. If we stay here, we’ll die too.”

They decided, “Let’s go to the Syrians. If they spare us, we live; if not, we die.” At twilight, they approached the Syrian camp. To their surprise, it was completely empty. The Lord had made the enemy hear a great army.
God made their footsteps sound powerful. Although their steps were weak, the enemy heard the march of a mighty army and left their tents. This is the God advantage—when God amplifies your efforts beyond what is humanly possible.
